Saniya is the well known tennis player where playing in behalf of India. Saniya Mirza has born in Mumbai in 15th November on the year 1986. The name of her father is Imran and mother name is Nasima Mirza. Imran is the sports journalist. She started playing at the age of six. She started practicing under the power of CK Bhupati, Mahesh Bhupati's father and first started playing tennis at the Nizam club in Hyderabad.
Sania learnt the professional game at Sinnet Tennis Academy in Secunderabad prior to finally participate in the Ace Tennis Academy in the USA. Her parents have decided to make Sania Mirza a tennis star while watching Steffi Graf and Conchita Martinez battle it out. And their dream came true today. She commenced her play in the year 2003. She is the first is Indian lady to get the name in the list of top 30 WTA rankings.
She finished schooling at NASR School in Hyderabad. She received degree from St. Mary’s College. At April 12th in the year 2010, she got married with the Shoaib Malik, a cricket player in Pakistan. Sania Mirza’s first debut has held in April 2003 for the India Fed Cup team and she has won all the three single matches. At the same year, she has obtained the Wimbledon Championships Girls Doubles title in 2003 when she played with Alisa Kleybanova of Russia. For that, Sania has ranked 27 in singles and 11 in doubles, the highest ever ranking from India.
She reached the fourth round of Gram Slam tour in US open 2005. She has won the Grand Slam title along with Mahesh Boopathi in the mixed doubles in Australian Open 2009. In 2011, she was the runner up in French open with her partner Elena Vesnina. But in 2012, sania along with Bupathi and won the French Open in double mixing. In 2008 she combined with Mahesh Boopathi in Australian Open and came out as runner up. From the time when then she could flavor an amount of victories. The MGR Educational Research Institute University in Chennai gives her honorary degree of Doctor of Letters.
