Dravid For Khel Ratna, Yuvraj For Arjuna: BCCI Nominees

Cricket board has declared the decision to recommend the just before retried player Rahul Dravid for the precious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and Yuvraj Singh the best player of the world cup choose for the Arjuna award by the BCCI. 

"We will be forwarding the names of Rahul Dravid for Khel Ratna Award and Yuvraj Singh for the Arjuna Award next week (to the government)," BCCI's CAO Prof Ratnakar Shetty unveiled this decision on Saturday.

The Indian government has now freshly expended the time limit for the nominees until July 20. The thirty nine years old Rahul Dravid retried from all the terms of the game at the worldwide following test series in Australia last year that having accumulated nearly over twenty three thousands of runs in the test match and One Day International comprises from the spectacular commence in Lord’s in the year of 1996.

These two awards are recognized as the top most sports award in the region that has been instituted in the years of 1991 and 1992. Indian cricket team previous captain Dravid will surely follow the footsteps of his memorable co player Sachin Tendulkar, in the year of 1997 and 1998, and the present Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the year 2007 and 2008 has referred as the third cricketer to capture the award. 

Still now there are twenty sportsmen have been afforded these award. At present, best cricket player Yuvraj commenced the practice at the nets in National Cricket Academy of Bangalore subsequent to the battle along with a cancer between his lungs who has been selected as the India’s hero in the 2011 world cup victory.
