Indian Cricket Team Leaves For Sri Lanka

After the long break, Indian Cricket team will leave India upon a fresh flavor trusting the slide they have to undergone from the time when the World Cup triumph in the year 2011. 

The Indian cricket squad encircles fifteen players to participate in Sri Lanka to face five One Day International series chased by a T20 International starting on July 21st at Hambantota on Wednesday afternoon. Already, Indian team goes through the valuable training in Chennai and the period of practicing is small due to heavy rain.

Yet, the players underwent serious practice that began from Monday. The coacher for this cricket series is Coach Duncan Fletcher.  The Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni has unveiled the positive replay to commence the new section in Sri Lankan matches. “We know the Sri Lankan conditions well so we want to start the season with good results,” said the Indian captain at a press conference on Tuesday which was also attended by Coach Fletcher.

Before going to Sri Lanka Mahendra Singh Dhoni saod to the reporters in the interview "Most of the players have come back after a long break and the body looks very different and their fielding and other activities look very different.” He also added "We will make the most of the rest that we have got. It's the start of the season and we want to start it on a good note."

As per the schedule, India has to play five One Day International matches and one Twenty20 match in Sri Lanka that commence on July 21st of 2012. Subsequent to this Sri Lanka tour, India will host to New Zealand to play World Twenty20 championships and then forwarding to England and Pakistan are scheduled at the end of the years.
